As a Payroll Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of payroll solutions, driving enhancements, managing system changes, and ensuring smooth operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading payroll enhancements in collaboration with AGL’s business teams and managed payroll service provider
- Driving solution design and delivery of new initiatives in Payroll
- Managing payroll sprints, change projects, and system enhancements
- Overseeing third-party vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Working closely with Payroll, P&C and Technology teams to assess and implement system changes
- Providing functional and configuration expertise in payroll-related applications
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in Australian SAP Payroll (support experience highly regarded)
- Strong technical knowledge of SAP Payroll (ADP GlobalView) and WFM solutions (Kronos/eTime).
- Experience with managed payroll service providers like ADP
- Background in large-scale ERP environments (SAP, S/4HANA experience desirable)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex payroll system changes across multiple platforms

Process payroll through banking or other software, calculating payroll amounts, and resolving payroll related inquiries
