About the role
About your new role: The Sales Planning and Ordering Analyst is a key role within the sales team and is responsible for the key tasks of the sales planning function including sales and wholesale forecasting, incentive planning and analysis, and order management for the Škoda brand. The main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely reports to Škoda Head Office, Škoda Australia, the Dealer Network and associates agencies as per reporting schedule
- Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor performance and market forecasts
- Manage Order Intake and Dealer Traffic process and maintain and continuously improve Dealer Contact Reports
- Lead internal stakeholders and collaborate with finance to provide information regarding all retail campaigns, recommended actions and drive performance by ensuring they receive timely information regarding quarterly campaigns
- Review impact of current and previous tactical campaigns and proactively recommend improvements
- Monitor all factory vehicle orders and reconcile actual production with orders placed and resolve any exceptions
- Liaise with factory colleagues to ensure vehicle production quota meets sales plan
- Assist other departments with sourcing and ordering of vehicles (Company Fleet, Corporate Fleet, Marketing, etc.)
Selection Criteria To succeed in this role, candidates will need to possess the following:
- Experience in developing reports and visualising reports that support management’s decision making process
- Strong analytical ability and communication skills
- Practical problem solving skills with an operational focus
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & Power Point
