About the role

Through experiencing four six-month rotational assignments across the breadth of our business over the two-year program, our VLA graduates will be able to hone their business acumen while making a direct impact to Visa’s business.

Program Highlights

  • Business Insight: Rotational assignments span key areas of Visa’s business (e.g. Consulting, Product, Value Added Services etc.) and VLA graduates will gain valuable skills and experiences that are aligned with their career goals and growth areas.
  • Training & Development: Curated training courses in varied learning formats will be offered to expand business and industry knowledge and develop professional and technical skills.
  • **Networking Opportunities: **Meaningful exposure to Visa leaders and subject matter experts will enable VLA graduates to broaden their perspectives and think more strategically.
  • Career Progression: VLA graduates will have diverse opportunities for career progression after program completion.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently in the final year of an accredited Bachelor’s degree program, OR have graduated from university no earlier than February 2025.
  • Available to join full-time when the program commences in February 2026, in Sydney. 
  • Permanent authorization to work in Australia is a precondition of employment as Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this program.

Visa

The Strategy team is a diverse team, where all new fresh ideas and thoughts are encouraged by the team. Strategy Team has a broad range of stakeholders across the business, including active involvement with the AuNZSP leadership team. All these different perspectives across the business are critical building blocks to deliver strategic outcomes that are in the best interest of Visa and the payments ecosystem. While supporting strategy will be the primary objective of the role, this role will form part of an analyst community who support Finance, Merchant Services and Acquiring, Product and Sales as part of broader business priorities.
