About the role

As the Brand Manager for Whisk(e)y, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will lead a truly unique role growing a truly iconic global brand, with a significant amount of local autonomy across strategy, communications and NPD. As Brand Manager of Johnnie Walker you will be focussed on building a share winning and recruitment-based strategy to grow this brand in the highly competitive alcoholic beverages category. Where will you grow in this role?

  • Creating a new wave of growth at a time of strategic brand transformation in a highly competitive and dynamic Whiskey category.
  • Supporting a complex portfolio that spans a broad spectrum of segments and price tiers.
  • Leading the implementation of media, earned and experiential activity for the brand.
  • Developing great relationships with insights, customer marketing, innovation, commercial and our agency partners to influence them to deliver to our needs.
  • Passionately lead the brand agenda within Diageo to ensure in-year commercial delivery as well as long term brand equity growth.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Industry Experience - relevant experience including 3+ years in CPG Brand Marketing
  • Curious about consumers and what drives them, and can unlock insights to change consumer relationships with brands
  • Proven experience inspiring and collaborating with agency partners to deliver breakthrough communications thinking. Thinks outside existing paradigms and nurtures big ideas.
  • Builds strong cross-functional relationships.

    Partner with stakeholders to understand specifications, business requirements, and communicate insights
