About the role
**About the role: ** The National Auto Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and thought leadership across our automotive clients. This role leverages deep market expertise to strengthen existing relationships and unlock new opportunities with key auto partners. Proactively identifying and cultivating high-value partnerships, the National Auto Lead ensures our advertising solutions deliver meaningful impact for both clients and the business. This leader is focused on delivering results through client-centric advertising partnerships. They will have a strong and proven track record of success in a similar role, and a desire to be a part of a fast-growing media network. Open to Sydney or Melbourne locations for this role.
What you’ll do:
- Develop client-led strategies that help solve real business challenges
- Shape, develop and implement the group's Automotive strategy. Creating greater Paid, Owned and Earned opportunities for our partners.
- Be responsible for all Auto network advertising revenue lines
- Maintain and expand relationships with Senior Agency Stakeholders
- Build and own all direct Auto relationships
- Identify opportunities for new partnerships and continued partnership expansion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaigns
- Build new auto network strategies that drive revenue growth across all brands
- Proactively look for ways of improving or delivering better connections and value between OEM and Dealer Partners
- Represent our market communication into native and new innovative products
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing team on thought leadership and trade
- Provide market intelligence to the business to help improve our offering
- Build, create and deliver high-impact proposals and presentations for both proactive and response to client briefs
- Ongoing brand management including; proactive and reactive opportunity creation, reporting and insight management
What you’ll bring:
- Qualifications in business and/ or marketing will be beneficial, or 7+ years in deep industry expertise - same or similar position/transferable skills, coming from internal auto industry teams
- Senior relationships within the Automotive sector are a MUST
- Tools: Google Suite / Mail, Google Ad Manager, Adobe Audience Manager, Google AdExchange, Microsoft
- Industry expertise within the Auto industry and marketing strategies
- Patch and pipeline management reporting with proven results in meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Be a thought leader who can contribute value and insight into the Auto industry's advancement
- The ability to be a strategic sales leader with success in building client partnerships
- Deep industry expertise and experience, including a strong understanding of digital advertising and media sales and how the two connect
- You are proactive and autonomous and have the drive to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and bias for client solutions and y
- Passion for native and audience-led digital solutions
- Proven skills in negotiation, commercial acumen and business development success
- Superb presentation, interaction, communication and sales skills – a proven influencer
- Knowledge of programmatic is advantageous
