The Role: As an experienced and driven Senior Technical Business Analyst at AP+, you will join the Business Operations & Delivery team in a 12-month Max Term contract role, where you will be responsible for contributing to payment solutions and analysis for developing, capturing and delivering requirements, supporting stakeholders and successfully implementing solutions to eftpos members.

Proposed Position Requirements are:

  • At least 7 years of experience in card payments, with a strong knowledge of various card schemes (eftpos, Visa, MasterCard).
  • Experience with Stand-in Processing (STIP) is preferred.
  • Understanding of card messaging standard (AS2805 or ISO8583)
  • Demonstrated expertise as a Business Analyst in delivering card payment projects.
  • Proficient in gathering requirements and producing clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, including effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between Product Managers, Project Managers, developers, testers, and vendors to ensure requirements are accurately conveyed and identify any gaps.
  • Strategically plan project roadmaps, proactively identifying and addressing risks, issues, and obstacles to ensure timely project delivery and success.
  • Conduct thorough end-to-end analysis of all impacted systems and processes to facilitate successful implementation of changes, including creating process flows and relevant documentation for both internal and external teams.
  • Experience with Agile project methodologies, maintaining a positive and adaptable mindset that aligns with business goals.
