RACV is there for every one of its 2.1 million members providing roadside assistance, emergency home assist, eight resorts in three states, travel discounts and benefits, insurance, finance, member benefits and more. In the community, RACV partners with five selected non-profit organisations annually in arts, environment, health and wellbeing, mobility and safety, and welfare. It provides financial support to each organisation to run specific programs that will benefit Victorians. RACV also provides numerous one-off grants for community projects throughout the state.

About the role

About the Opportunity Reporting to the Group Insights & Reporting Manager, the Financial Systems and Modelling Analyst will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the IBM Planning Analytics system which incorporates the Group reporting, budgeting, and forecasting models as well as finance business intelligence information   Come along for a new journey You will have responsibility for system architecture, maintenance, administration, security, user support, ensuring data integrity with source systems, developing financial models and reports, as well as finance related ERP and network access administration support services.   Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure system availability, security, documentation and performance of regular tasks such as back-ups and upgrades
  • Managing system problems
  • Monitoring & managing user licenses
  • Collaborate with the finance support team to build and enhance:
    • models to deliver operational efficiencies and/or insights
    • reports and views which are insightful and accurate
  • Verify finance data - ensure errors are minimised, promptly identified and rectified
  • Responsible for ERP finance related administration support such as maintenance and creation of cost centres, cost elements, CO reporting hierarchies and month end close activities

  Who we’re looking for and what you’ll bring Thrive in an environment where people are at the heart of everything. You’ll come with:

  • 5+ years supporting IBM Planning Analytics system or similar multi-dimensional databases
  • 3+ years writing code to deliver operational efficiencies
  • 3+ years providing ERP finance administration support
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, finance or similar
  • Advanced Excel
  • Functional knowledge of Finance activities such as management reporting, planning, forecasting, general ledger accounting, consolidation
  • Advanced use and knowledge of Office 365 suite
  • SAP ERP experience
  • Systems design
  • Project management
