We’re building apps that bring data science, visualization, and reporting to everyone. Our two main products are Displayr, the world’s first complete data science tool; and Q, the complete toolkit for market researchers. About the role
- We are in scaling phase (with start-up vibes minus the investors and debt) and are on the hunt for experienced Team Leaders to join us. With our technical team encompassing more than 50% of our whole business, the investment into the our products and our people continues.
- Leading a team of 6 full stack engineers, you will use your technical knowledge to help kick off major product enhancements and design decisions.
- You will promote working in collaborative environments where ideas are converted into tangible outcomes.
- You will mentor and support your team helping them to meet and where possible, exceed expectations whilst holding them and yourself to account.

- There is an expectation that you would spend 10%-20% of your week as a manager hands-on coding, so you will need to be comfortable being this close to the tools.
About You
- You have 8+ years of software development experience, with a track record of notable achievements.
- You have 3+ years of experience leading an engineering team, mentoring developers, and guiding technical decisions.
- You have experience building modern applications, working across frontend, backend, or full-stack development.
- You are still hands-on with coding, spending at least 10-20% of your time writing and reviewing code.
- You have expertise in at least one part of our tech stack—.NET/C# or JavaScript/TypeScript—and a strong grasp of the libraries, frameworks, and platforms you work with.
- You’ve worked on large-scale, complex software platforms and have experience managing technical debt.
- You take a strategic approach to system design, breaking down complex problems while balancing performance, cost, and simplicity.
- You think beyond just writing code—you consider the business impact, collaborate with stakeholders, and make smart trade-offs to drive meaningful outcomes.
- You’re analytical and decisive, using data-driven insights to navigate complexity, make sound judgments under pressure, and clearly communicate your reasoning.
- You lead by example, actively contributing to design, implementation, and code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
