About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide accounting support to the Vocus Network Services Financial control team. You will join a team of 8 across accounting and performance whom are responsible for financial oversight of the VNS division of the Vocus Group. This position is responsible for supporting the Finance team on a day-to-day basis and at month end to help meet month end deadlines
**Responsibilities: **
- To recognise the product Vocus Satellite – Starlink. End to end recognition of revenue and cost of sales, including posting of journals and necessary analysis
- To recognise the product Partner Solutions. End to end recognition of revenue and cost of sales, including posting of journals and necessary analysis
- General accruals/prepayments
- Review of transactional data to ensure accuracy of financial information
Skills:
- Ability to critically analyse and communicate financial information
- Methodical approach to work
- Ability to ensure consistency of standards/procedures and promote efficiencies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive data
- Advanced excel - formulas and working with pivot tables
- Good planning, organisation, analytical and decision-making skills

Financial Statement Creation and Reporting
Produce financial statements and reports in a timely manner to support business needs and decisions

Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices and undertake reconciliations
