Where would you fit?  This is a critical role within the x15 Portfolio team responsible for finding and investing in opportunities, then backing our Ventures to scale with CommBank strategic partnership leverage.  You will be reporting to the Head of Product and Design, responsible for driving and initiatives that accelerate the critical growth milestones of x15 and our ventures. This includes working closely with CommBank, x15 and our ventures to create best in class user experiences for new ventures and internal projects    Your impact and contribution  We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to drive product development in the POC Team. You'll collaborate closely within an experienced cross-functional team to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, you'll oversee POC delivery, dig into the detail to surface product insights, and rapidly embed learnings into an aligned product strategy.   As Senior Product Owner, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of our initiatives from inception to completion and all the pivot’s that come in between. You will work collaboratively across the squad and with key stakeholders (internal and clients) all while playing a key role in tangibly building our next big thing. 

Your responsibilities  

• Define and deliver the product roadmap, managing priorities by working closely with the Head of Product and department leads  
• Communicate effectively to the wider team throughout the planning, development, release of product features and beyond  
• Drive product development concept to launch, caretaking all aspects of the product development while operating in a fast-paced start-up environment  
• Work hands on with engineering, operations and design to deliver product features that exceed customer expectations  
• Test concepts in market, quickly learn and iterate on the product direction  
• Prioritise initiatives within the product roadmap and deliver within an agile framework  
• Facilitate co-design stakeholder and client workshops to build bespoke products and work with design counterparts to synthesise user research to develop insights and actions to improve the product  
• Be outcome focused by defining, tracking and communicating product goals  
• Provide clarity on your team’s outcomes, key results, goals and plans  
• Engage senior management to align on product vision, strategy and execution plans  
• Collaborate with colleagues from diverse functional backgrounds and different organisation levels and geographic locations

     Your skills and experience  

• You have product management experience in digital-first businesses, where automation and simple processes are core pillars in planning and delivery activity.  
• Experience in fintech, banking or financial services or financial products. 
• Knowledge of institutional banking products would be a bonus. 
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
• You have experience in Agile delivery and can champion agile ways of working with the squad 
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects/streams at the same time 
• Proficient in utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to enhance product performance and quality. 
• You’re customer obsessed and can make hard trade-off decisions that best optimise for customer value. 
• You will be comfortable with uncertainty, and taking on big challenges that push you outside of your comfort zone 
• You will be curious and open to learning new things, and taking accountability for finding solutions to challenging, ambiguous problems 
• You will be confident to contribute your views, effectively communicating with and influencing a range of stakeholders
