About the role
The Role
We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our growing team! We offer training and development opportunities, and support for CA/CPA study. As an Assistant Accountant, you will report to the Managing Principal of CFO Advisory and provide support to the team with daily accounting tasks. This includes preparing month-end journals, verifying balance sheet reconciliations, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and undertaking other ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks as necessary.
You will also assist in producing monthly management reports and resolve or escalate accounts queries. We require exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail. We value dependability and a commitment to task ownership. The successful candidate will have either a qualification in Accounting, or relevant professional experience.

Payroll Administration
Accurately process employee payroll, calculate payments, and resolve discrepancies while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations

Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices and undertake reconciliations

Administrative Support
Ensure smooth operations by collaborating with others to complete various tasks, organizing information, and coordinating schedules
