The role:

We are seeking a highly motivated casual Warehouse Assistants to join our team. The Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in efficiently handling, organising, and distributing medical supplies within our warehouse. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize accuracy, and are committed to contributing to the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming freight.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of freight within the warehouse.
• Prepare orders, verifying product accuracy and completeness.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
• Provide support in various warehouse tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [weight limit]) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Basic computer skills .
