About the role

Wisr is looking for a switched-on and inquisitive problem solver who wants to develop a career in Public Relations and Communications.

The role will focus on assisting the Wisr Media and Communications Manager to drive our media coverage across key target territories. This will involve trend research, survey development (for story-telling ideas), media pitching, long-form writing, customer interviews and investor communication support.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in an exciting, fast-paced environment and is driven to create an impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and 1:1 training at Australia’s fastest growing lender.


What tasks will you be doing?

  • Copywriting: Writing media pitches, thought leadership op-eds, blog articles, and social media posts.
  • Desktop Research: The gathering and analysis of information and trends, through print media or published on the internet.
  • Content Creation: Working with our designers to create visual and/or static content. Will also be coordinating influencer content.

  • Interpersonal effectiveness: You’ll be working with a wide variety of people across the organisation, and stakeholders, so will need the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
  • Verbal communication: You’ll need to be able to clearly express yourself verbally and be capable of talking to customers for case studies.
  • Learning agility: Our business is fast-growing and we have a performance culture. There is a lot of variety in the work that you’ll need to do. You’ll need to be willing and able to learn quickly to adapt to changes.
