About the role

The Role: As Project Manager, you will provide efficient management, end to end oversight and communication in the delivery of the Capital Projects program and the Retail Network Plan whilst building and maintaining relationships within a state/region.

_Responsibilities include but not limited to: _

  • To manage and be responsible for a state/region based Retail Capital projects program from inception to completion and handover to BAU operations.
  • Act as a key member in the end to end oversight and implementation of the CxT retail network plan.
  • Work with the Operations/leasing team to ensure the leasing outcomes for the State/region are on budget and aligned with the Network plan.
  • Where required, procure resources to deliver Retail Capital projects program including Project Managers, QSs, Architects and Principal or Head Contractors and other specialist consultants.
  • To manage the external delivery teams for the projects including Project Managers, QSs, Architects, Principal or Head Contractors and other specialist consultants.
  • To prepare, co-ordinate and issue all state/region level weekly and monthly reports to Group Property
  • Working with the State/Regional based customer to provide satisfied end users to become a “trusted partner” and “true integrator”.
  • Liaison with senior business stakeholders, branch management, Architects, PMs, QSs and other consultants as necessary to prepare a Project Definition Plan for each branch and an overall state/region Program Definition Plan.
  • Liaison with, and co-ordination of, all internal WBC stakeholders including IT, Security, Marketing, Leasing, OH&S etc.
  • Consistently be innovative and forward-thinking, and proactively plan for the future property related needs

What you will bring: .

  • Experience of Retail Capital Works delivery processes
  • An understanding in retail leasing and asset management and end to end manager of the property lifecycle
  • Experience in stakeholder and relationship management working with senior management as stakeholders/customers in the delivery of Retail property services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing external providers
  • Experience in facilitating workshops
  • Ability to travel both interstate and within state/region to support the Retail Network plan implementation.
