What this opportunity involves: We are seeking a driven Retail Leasing Executive to join our team in Melbourne. This is a great opportunity as you will be working with major retailers and landlords on a national retail portfolio. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the office located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. The office location provides convenient access to shops, trams and trains.

Snapshot of the roles:

  • Assist and support in negotiating retail lease transactions
  • Support the management and execution of property and leasing services
  • Critical date reporting across national property portfolio
  • Maintain accurate databases and assist with lease administration
  • Participate in market research to stay informed about local developments
  • Support client relationship management and service delivery

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications with relevant State Real Estate Licence/Sub-Agents Licence
  • 2-3 years of relevant commercial leasing experience, ideally in retail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport with stakeholders of all levels
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and address complex problems within an ever-changing environment.
  • Background in client facing tenant representation or leasing role
  • Ability to multi-task and work with competing / tight operational deadlines
  • Sound IT proficiency including MS Office Suite

What you'll be responsible for

    Outbound Prospecting

    Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers

    Deal Management

    Effectively prioritize and manage deals to meet sales targets, including coordination with AEs and Marketing to land prospects

  • 🌐

    Market Feedback and Insight

    Gather market insights and customer feedback, and clearly communicate these to internal teams including the Sales, Marketing and Product team
