About the role

Your role Reporting to the Sales Director and working within a team of experienced sales professionals, this role is responsible for driving incremental sales of Pental branded products, throughout desired channels focused on the retail sector such as discounters, distributors, electrical retailers.

In this role, you will be primarily based at our beautiful offices in St. Kilda Rd, Melbourne CBD and be tasked with developing and executing business plans for each account, focusing on growth opportunities and customer relationship management.

With the support of an experienced leader in the field, you’ll have the autonomy to run the portfolio as your own offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth of the business. You will leverage your strong account management expertise to manage multiple customers and a vast product mix of trusted household brands to quickly gain some wins across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing trade relationships across several market categories to achieve sales budget
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies across channel
  • Manage and attend category review presentations for all relevant channels
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute special projects and programs
  • Monthly sales forecasting

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in managing key account sales within FMCG, Pharma, Commercial or Distributors
  • Strategic in approach with the ability to translate company/brand goals into a commercial plan
  • Proven negotiation, interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical, financial and communication skills
  • Brand and category marketing experience experience, desirable
