About the role
Canva’s Legal Operations team is a standalone ‘specialty’ within the broader legal team, supporting a global crew of over fifty lawyers, in close collaboration with the wider business. Our mission is to empower our stakeholders with the systems and processes to get their work done effectively – a mission that requires a strong sense of empathy, exceptional communications skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for all things legal ops and technology.
What you'll be responsible for

Legal Document Drafting and Review
Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts and policies

Legal Research
Conduct legal and factual research to collate findings, and inform business and legal decisions.

Review laws and standards to implement, update and maintain the organization’s policies, standards, and procedures.
