About the role

As the Office Manager for our vibrant Sydney team, you will play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming and collaborative working environment within our newly renovated office space.

This is a fast paced and diverse role, where you will manage a range of functions including general office management, running our culture calendar of events (it’s all about having fun!), managing our operational vendor relationships, plus more! 

What you will be doing

In this role, you will be the face of Valiant and the heart of our community with a designated responsibility to create a positive atmosphere and environment. As the Office Manager you will:

  • Provide office administrative support to our team with no task too small for you to tackle, this might include: managing our grocery order for snacks and drinks in the office, tidying meeting rooms, cupboards and office desks, booking flights, managing office inventory, engaging with our building manager about office facilities, etc.
  • Organise and execute company wide events such as our EOFY party, Christmas party, our quarterly social events, and monthly office-wide wraps
  • Organise and execute ad-hoc events to drive up office culture such as celebrating international women’s day, R U Ok Day, Australia’s biggest morning tea, etc. 
  • Respond to people’s office-related needs and proactively look for opportunities to continuously improve our working environment
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties as set out by the People & Talent team including supporting with HR admin activities
