About the role
We have a permanent opportunity in our Sydney office for a passionate People & Culture Business Partner to join ACM’s People & Culture Partnering team within the largest privately owned media company in Australia.
As a critical member of the People & Culture team, this role will provide support, recommendations and strategies for business leaders on people related matters within their stakeholder portfolio.
You will:
- Case manage complex employee relations issues ie supporting grievance and disciplinary investigations and resolving complaints and disputes
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach leaders across all performance management related matters.
- Provide EA and Award interpretation and advice to leaders and employees
- Supporting the practical implementation of P&C annual plans such as engagement survey and remuneration review
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant experience in a HR Business Partner role requiring broad generalist ER and IR understanding and capabilities
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Humanities, Business/Commerce, Law or Psychology
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Work and employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common sense approach
- A track record of building strong successful relationships and influence and negotiate outcomes
- Success in leading and implementing P&C projects
