About the role

The Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner will report to the Head of Work, Health & Safety - This is a critical role, with a focus to provide tools and resources that support a safe working environment across the warehouse in Yennora and corporate office in Sydney CBD. This role is an exciting opportunity to dive deep into Operations processes; identify risks through data and first-hand experience; build and execute programs, and improve processes to eliminate risks; and influence our people leaders and employees to sustain a culture of safety.

In this role you will report to the Head of Health & Safety, you will be a key agent of change to support the business Health & Safety strategy in preventative Health & Safety.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety
  • Experiences in logistics or Fulfilment environments desired (specifically with automation technologies)
  • Experiences managing HS management systems (ISO 45001)
  • Experiences with HS metrics and data analysis
  • Experiences reviewing and inputting to critical risk assessment and project work streams
  • Experiences with serious Incident Investigation methodologies (ICAM preferred)
  • Work on key strategic and programs to support overall H&S strategy
  • Support HS governance and forums 
  • Coaching business Leaders to achieve a leadership culture
  • Experience with change management and work in dynamic environments 
  • Supporting injury management and return to work outcomes
  • Passionate about implementation safety related optimisation projects and facilitate implementation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practice
  • Experience in developing WHS documentation and procedures
  • Ability to facilitate face to face training sessions
  • Strong planning, prioritization and organizational skills to manage projects, caseloads and priorities
  • Knowledge of workers compensation management desirable

Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work effectively in and across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations, whilst maintaining a high level of work ethic and being able to work autonomously and being passionate about driving our company’s performance through keeping our people healthy enabling them to thrive.     Implement and oversee protocols for maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing the process for work-related injury or illness claims.
