About the role
- Assist with the preparation of consolidated results for the Domain Holdings Australia Group compliant with the Corporations Act 2001, ASX listing rules and current Australian Accounting Standards
- Support the Group Financial Control Manager in the completion of monthly activities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
- Assist with the financial accounting of acquisitions and disposals and integration of new entities into the Domain Group
- Assist with technical accounting including but not limited to prepayments and accruals, leases, share-based payments, provisions, contingent consideration revaluation and revenue recognition
- Assist with the half-year and year-end external audit process
- Assist with maintaining of chart of accounts, corporate structures and consolidation process
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve reporting and insights provided to the business, processes, data quality and data availability
- Assist with the delivery of new policies, systems, and processes, ensuring their appropriateness and alignment with the Group
- Have analytical experience with the proven ability to manipulate and translate large amounts of data into insights
- Hold A CA or CPA qualification (or nearly qualified) and a Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience
