About the role
We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer who has solid experience in designing and developing high performance, high growth web applications to expand our team.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Working in a fast paced, startup environment; having a team first mindset, and putting the needs of the team above your own.
- Building and owning UI components, design systems and frontend structures in close collaboration with UX Designers.
- Owning domains and ensuring design consistency across projects.
- Optimising frontend performance, resolving UI/UX issues, and applying best practices for scalability, efficiency and user experience.
- Exploring and adopting new tools and systems to enhance frontend development workflows and improve overall project efficiency and innovation.
- Mentoring junior team members, code reviews, technical discussions and knowledge sharing.
Technologies You'll Work With:
- TypeScript, ReactJs & Next.js: Develop web applications using TypeScript, ReactJs and Next.js.
- HTML/CSS (Scss & CSS Modules): Responsive web styling and unified design system.
- Figma: Ensure that design concepts align with our design system and industry best practices.
- Test Automation: Jest + React testing library.
- AWS Services: Leveraging CloudFront, Amplify, and Lambda for scalable cloud solutions.
- NodeJs & REST APIs: For server-side logic and API development.
- Monitoring & Logging: X-Ray, Dynatrace; CloudWatch and ELK/Splunk.
- CICD: We are using CircleCI.
