About the role

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated individual with a passion for People! In this exciting new position, you will assist the Corporate People Team with attracting top talent to our Australian Head Office and contribute to the overall candidate and employee experience. This is a six-month opportunity for a student or recent graduate of Business studies to grow their practical experience two days per week (Wednesdays and Fridays). This opportunity would also be suitable for an individual with HR experience looking for work-life balance in a part-time role. Reporting to our Senior HR Business Partner and working closely with our Talent Acquisition Consultant this role will be exposed to both recruitment and generalist HR. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Supporting the Corporate Talent Acquisition Consultant and hiring managers with recruitment administration including posting job ads, coordinating interviews, initiating reference checks and drafting of contracts.
  • Updating the applicant tracking system.
  • Responding to questions from internal and external stakeholders in relation to recruitment matters.
  • Assisting the People Team with organising engagement events including Pride Month, Macca’s Day Out and Family Day.
  • Assisting with the new starter induction program.
  • Providing general HR admin support.
