About the role

Responsibilities:

As a Sales Development Representative at Minfy, your primary role will involve proactively engaging in outbound prospecting to generate appointments, effectively qualifying and marketing our solutions to potential customers. You will collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams, contributing to the discovery and scheduling of appointments and opportunities. Your responsibilities include utilizing strong selling and influencing skills to secure qualified appointments, providing high-level introductions to cloud services (with a preference for AWS), and employing proven sales techniques to influence customer interactions. Additionally, you will be responsible for logging, tracking, and maintaining outbound activity, as well as participating in sales meetings, vendor training sessions, and local trade shows to enhance your understanding of the data technology landscape.

Requirements:

Our ideal Sales Development Representative should possess:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong in-person, phone, and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with team members at all organizational levels.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of corporate IT and cloud services, with a specific emphasis on AWS.
  • Presentation Skills: Capability to make formal and informal presentations to both internal staff and clients.
  • Adaptability: Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift efforts based on departmental or business goals.
  • Self-motivation: Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and stay self-motivated.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated history of achieving significant results in positions with substantial accountability.
  • Tech Enthusiasm: A genuine interest in pursuing a career in technology.
  • Startup Mentality: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating proactive, creative thinking, and maintaining a positive attitude.

    Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers

    Execute on designed touch points in the customer journey by developing content, delivering product demonstrations, and other tactics to nurture prospects
