About the role
Nine is currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated applicant to join its Broadcast Technology Support team in providing technical and operational support across its production facility located in North Sydney.
The position of Broadcast Technology Support Analyst is a full time, rotating shift role covering 7 days a week. The purpose of this role is to:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for internal customers, handling their inquiries via phone calls and ticketing systems.
- Proactively identify and address any issues raised by internal customers
- Analyse problems and determine if they can be resolved independently; or escalate complex issues
The successful candidate will be part of an enthusiastic team responsible for day to day support of sophisticated, up to date, technical broadcast systems including:
- Studio Automation
- Live Studio Production
- Post Production and Non-linear editing systems
- Digital Asset Management
- Digital News Gathering
- Video Contribution, Distribution and Encoding
- Master Control Facilities
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
- Engineering Degree, Diploma in Electrical or Communications Engineering or comparable qualification in the Broadcast or IT Industry.
- Proficiency in managing and addressing multiple priorities and requests simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Access to transportation
- A flexible attitude to working irregular hours including 4:30 am starts, weekends, public holidays and shift work on a regular basis
