Confronting hiring biases can be an uncomfortable exercise. They're often unintentional and automatic, making it difficult to rewire our learned behaviours and beliefs. But it is so important that we all do the work to make hiring inclusive.

McKinsey & Co research found a statistically significant correlation between a more diverse leadership team and financial performance. On the flip side, less diverse companies (both gender and ethnic/cultural diversity) are 29% less likely to achieve above-average profitability than their more diverse counterparts.

For companies it’s clear, start nurturing diverse young talent today, to develop your future leaders of tomorrow. You can learn about how our talent matching platform reduces bias here.
